I'm not a passive therapist, I'm interactive in sessions. My approach blends 20 years of work in psychology with natural compassion, humor and insight.
When it comes to relationships, we can find ourselves stuck on “rinse-and-repeat” (or occasionally, just “spin”). Through insight and a smattering of behavioral interventions, we can reimagine ourselves and our relationships.
As a parent, and a creative person myself, I am drawn to work with creatives, parents, couples, and individuals that are learning to manage challenges with addiction, depression, and bipolar illness.
I work with highly anxious and intellectual folks struggling with relationship and sexuality concerns. My approach to therapy is dynamic, trauma-informed, and combines personal insight and action steps – because nothing is one-size-fits-all.
I believe in relational healing, the idea that we heal through connection as much as through insight. Every session is an invitation to explore your experience with acceptance, insight, humor, and trust we earn over time.
