I believe in relational healing, the idea that we heal through connection as much as through insight. Every session is an invitation to explore your experience with acceptance, insight, humor, and trust we earn over time. All living things move through cycles of need and fulfillment. When we're thirsty, we drink and the cycle completes. Our mental and emotional lives work the same way, but those cycles often get stuck or derailed. Anxiety, anger, and sadness are often signals of needs that haven't yet been met and thirst that has gone unquenched, leaving "unfinished business" long after the moment that created it.
I often sit with stories of trauma, substance use, anxiety and depression where guilt and shame can show up uninvited, adding fuel to suffering that's already heavy enough. I want to explore these stories with you – not just to understand and process what went wrong, but to uncover the material for something new, with you as the protagonist of your own life.
My approach is integrative with psychodynamic exploration, relational Gestalt and narrative work, paired with mindfulness-based tools for nervous system regulation. That’s a clinical way of saying I come with experience, curiosity, warmth and well-earned trust. I'd love to help you navigate unfinished business and move toward relief and joy in your life.
